In 2000 Rogier Smalhout and Wiecher Troost organized a party called Appelsap in ‘het Oosterpark’ in Amsterdam. In the years after that Appelsap in ‘het Oosterpark’ became the best yearly free event by bringing the freshest (local and International) hiphop acts over and over again. On the 1st of August Appelsap is celebrating it’s tenth anniversary together with artists like Clipse, de Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Rich Medina, Dimlite, La Melodia and a lot of visitors.
