ASICS x Patta Gel Lyte Speed

I am so proud because this one is huge and everybody put lots of love and effort in this project! It's the 5th anniversary year of Patta and we are honored to be the chosen ones to kickstart a year full of festivities! By the way, did I already tell you that it's going to be huge? HA!

Now it's no surprise that ASICS and Patta would join forces again. I have been really excited about this one, since we worked on the project for quite some time. And in the next couple of weeks Patta and ASICS will surprise you again and again! I won't tell you anything more so check Endorsed and Patta's Blog from time to time.

Patta will be celebrating it’s 5th anniversary this year, and to engage in the festivities, Patta and ASICS will present a series of collaborative products throughout all of 2009.

To set things off properly, Patta have once again teamed up with the fine people at ASICS to follow up on the highly successful Patta x ASICS Gel Lyte III released in 2007, the same year Patta released a series of Patta Artist sweaters. It’s these aforementioned sweater-designs by creative friends Delta, Eric Elms and Parra that Patta liked so much, that they decided to puzzle the fresh color combinations and graphics into a pack of 3 shoes. Not to take anything away from the great shoe that is the Gel Lyte III, which has become a staple of sorts today, but Patta wanted something different this time… Enter the ASICS Gel Lyte Speed!

So there you have it, the Patta x Asics Gel Lyte Speed Pack, inspired by the works of Delta, Eric Elms and Parra, who all gave their blessings and extended a helping hand by putting the cherries on top with the lining and insole graphics. Launch will take place at Patta January 31st. More information coming soon, so please stay tuned…!
